Pioneer Clubs
Each Wednesday evening children 3k through 6th grade participate in a Christ centered program called Pioneer Clubs. Dedicated leaders help children explore the word of God and discover their God given gifts. Children earn a variety of Bible badges by learning scripture and how to apply it to their daily lives. Activity badges give the children an opportunity to discover their talents and gifts as well as learn valuable life skills. Our leaders love the Lord and share their love of Christ with the children as they develop meaningful relationships with the children. Pioneer clubs goals seek to help children come to know Christ as their personal Savior, put Christ in every aspect of their life and develop healthy Christian relationships with their peers and leaders. Each year the children participate in a number of outreach activities. We have been a part of the Florence Christmas parade sharing the good news with our community. Pioneers have made gospel bracelets for some of our missionary teams to take to Argentina. This year we are excited about our first Pinewood Derby Day scheduled in May. We have reached out to our shut-ins with holiday gifts and visits. This year we are filling a tub with personal care items which will be delivered to the Ukraine this summer by missionaries in our EPC. We are continually searching for ways to make our children bold for Jesus. Please call Ellen Guffey with any questions about Pioneers or if you are interested in becoming a member or leader. Everyone has a gift to share with our children.
Sunday School
Sunday morning is an exciting time for all children at Trinity. Classes are offered for ages 3k-6th grade with loving adults engaging children in the word of God through a variety of activities. The curriculum is designed to stimulate learning in a fun and relaxed atmosphere. Nursery is provided for children under age 3 where they are encouraged to love and share with each other. Children are introduced to the Bible through stories and other group activities. All our leaders are dedicated to loving our children as they encourage them to come to know Christ. Please contact Mark Huffman or any member of the Christian Education Committee if you are interested in becoming a Sunday School teacher.
Children's Church
Children’s Church is currently being held for two age groups of children. 4K-5K meet together as well as 1st-2nd graders. They enter the worship service and participate in the praise and music and are then taken
To their class to learn in a more informal atmosphere. Children are currently studying the Lord’s Prayer and its meaning. Children are encouraged to participate in prayer and express their needs with the leaders. At this time adults rotate on a 5-6 week rotation allowing the children to develop relationships with a variety of adults without the leaders missing worship each week. Curriculum is provided for all leaders that is easy to follow. Please contact Mark Huffman or any member of the Christian Education Committee if you would like to participate in our Children’s Church Program.
Children's Choir
Children are invited to sing in the Children’s Choir. The children have ample opportunity to share their faith through singing in Worship services and during special seasons of celebration like Christmas and Easter.
